MuseumWeek is organised by Culture For Causes Network, an official French non-profit organisation that promotes artists, museums, libraries, galleries, archives, art fairs, foundations and all cultural institutions around the world by the organisation of events on social media and sometimes in the physical space. #MuseumWeek, a Hashtag for Global Culture
MuseumWeek is the first worldwide festival born on social media in 2014 and is gathering more than 6000 institutions from all over the world, engaging with more than 62k connected audiences.
In 2021, even during a difficult period due to the pandemic and thanks to the social listening company Talkwalker, we demonstrated that MuseumWeek as a small but large international project, was more influential on social media than other projects dedicated to museums in Europe and in the world!
